
Marria Evbuoma is an artist and the founder of Rotation Community Services, where she leads efforts at events like Oakland First Fridays to divert waste and distribute surplus food. As manager of the Laurel Community Garden in East Huichin Oakland, she provides a vital space for neighbors to learn from the earth. Through her project, Reunion, Marria is helping Black families reclaim ancestral traditions and build a future rooted in community care and interdependence.
