Shaun Tai

Shaun is a social impact leader and designer committed to creating opportunity through creativity and technology. In 2009, he co-founded BRIDGEGOOD, an Oakland-based nonprofit that equips students with digital design skills, professional guidance, and tech pathways into meaningful careers. Through award-winning programs like Inspire Oakland, the UX Design Apprenticeship, and a state-of-the-art Design Studio at the Port of Oakland, BRIDGEGOOD serves hundreds of students annually, helping them turn passion into purpose. His mission is rooted in equity and empowerment, giving underrepresented creatives the tools to succeed in a competitive digital world. Under his leadership, BRIDGEGOOD has become a nationally recognized model for design for social good, connecting talent from overlooked communities with life-changing opportunities in tech and design.
