Siobhan Gibson

Siobhan Gibson, a social worker at Kaiser Permanente, founded The Blacklisted Bookshelf, a nationwide effort that has distributed over 1,000 books to protect intellectual freedom. When the recent government shutdown hit, Siobhan pivoted her network to provide critical food and supplies to 100 families across the country. She continues her local mission through a permanent community pantry dedicated to the memory of Josalynn Osborn, whose spirit of community Siobhan wishes to honor. Whether fighting for literacy or tackling food insecurity, Siobhan’s compassion knows no bounds.
