Read to Achieve, presented by Ross Stores, is a high-energy youth literacy initiative designed to inspire a lifelong love of reading by leveraging the excitement of basketball. Through multiple marquee events, the program sparks student excitement to read and builds daily reading habits.

Future Leaders, presented by Rakuten, is a year-long program that engages 18 youth from Girls Inc., centered around women’s empowerment, professional development, mentorship, panel conversations, creativity, fashion, job shadowing, and a game experience.

Back to School in the Bay presented by CarMax kicked off the school year with a first-of-its-kind sports gear donation activation at Chase Center. This event was designed to welcome 300 youth back to school by highlighting the fun and importance of physical activity through sport. We aim to instill an understanding of how movement positively impacts overall well-being, setting students up for a healthy and successful school year, both physically and mentally.

The Golden State Warriors and 2K Foundations partnered with Bayview United Gaming and MENTOR California to launch a season-long mentorship program. Designed for local youth with a passion for basketball and gaming, the initiative used gaming as a powerful tool for personal development. Through monthly workshops and site visits, students connected with industry professionals to build leadership and teamwork skills, while discovering creative career pathways within the sports and gaming sectors.

The Bay Area All-Star Scholarship Team (BAASST) is a collaborative philanthropic initiative founded in 1996 that unites the region's major professional sports franchises—including the Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, Bay FC, San Francisco Giants, San Jose Earthquakes, and San Jose Sharks. The program supports local youth by awarding $5,000 scholarships to outstanding high school students across the nine Bay Area counties, pairing financial aid with public recognition at team ceremonies to amplify community impact and access to higher education.

Excellence Beyond Athletics is a program designed to ensure youth understand their identities outside of their natural areas of expertise. Whether immediately following high school or after an athletic career ends, discipline, dedication, and teamwork learned in sports are transferable professional skills that form the foundation of a robust professional career.

Golden State hosted a Career Day dedicated to preparing roughly 200 high school and college students for the professional world. During the event, students participated in workshops focused on resume writing, personal branding, professional headshots, and networking with Golden State staff. The day wrapped up with an insightful panel discussion and a raffle for the attendees.

Full Court Science Summit, presented by PagerDuty, is a high-energy, hands-on educational event at Charles Drew Elementary designed to introduce elementary school students to STEAM programming. The program bridges the gap between athletics and STEAM by transforming the school’s outdoor space into a living laboratory. Students from Charles Drew rotated through interactive stations designed to demonstrate the scientific principles behind sport and physical health.

The Warriors, in partnership with Carta, hosted an event centered around bringing together women & non-binary individuals in venture capital and cultivating mentorship relationships with undergraduate women & non-binary students from Cal and Stanford to discuss breaking into the industry, expanding resources, and more.

Creative Threads, presented by Adobe, is an immersive workshop series to transform young professionals from consumers into creators. Creative Threads merges cutting-edge digital design with traditional craftsmanship, inviting participants to engineer their own one-of-a-kind wearable art. The journey begins in the digital realm, where participants use Adobe Firefly and Express to conceptualize and iterate on their designs. From there, The Campus expert team provides hands-on mentorship through the physical construction process, covering material science, structural alterations, and professional finishing techniques. By the end of the program, every designer walks away with a pair of custom sneakers that represent the intersection of their personal brand and professional creativity.
