Read To Achieve
The Read to Achieve program presented by Ross is a literacy initiative that aims to improve youth reading proficiency among Bay Area elementary students. With exciting year-round activities and experiences, the program promotes a love of reading and sets students up for success in school and beyond.
Read To Achieve Recent Work
Warriors Legend and Broadcast AnalystFestus Ezeli and members of the Warriors Dance Team visited elementary schools across the Bay Area to host Read to Achieve Reading Rallies. During each Reading Rally, they spoke to the students about the importance of reading.
The Summer Reading Celebration celebrated students’ reading accomplishments and encouraged them to continue reading throughout the year. The event featured a pop-up bookstore, food, music, activities, and a reading by Warriors Legend Adonal Foyle.
The Warriors and Ross partnered with Mission Dolores Academy to provide their students with a refurbished library. Students got a first look at the library and listened to a very special book reading by Warriors Legends Kelenna Azubuike and Tom Tolbert.
