On the court, every point counts. Off the court, every point feeds. During the 2024-25 season, every time the Warriors scored a point, 100 meals were donated to local food banks to support Bay Area families. This means when our team puts up 100 points, win or lose, Kaiser Permanente, Athletes Corner and the Warriors are donating 10,000 meals to prevent hunger.

As part of the season-long Hoops for Troops initiative, the Golden State Warriors partnered with various Bay Area organizations to honor and support local active military members and veterans. This comprehensive programming featured a dedicated game night highlighted by in-game activations, recognitions, and special acknowledgments for the military community. Additionally, the Warriors hosted a basketball clinic led by the Golden State Sports Academy for service members at Coast Guard Island, which concluded with a community picnic and an exclusive cutter ship tour.

Through the Animal Welfare initiative, the Golden State Warriors partnered with local organizations to support pet adoption and rescue awareness. During the holidays, the Warriors teamed up with the Muttville Senior Dog Center to provide adoption gifts designed to support new owners and prevent the post-holiday return of animals to shelters. Expanding on these efforts, the Warriors also hosted an animal adoption fair in partnership with the Peninsula Humane Society, where players arrived at the game night alongside adoptable pets, creating awareness around the importance of animal rescue.

As part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving, the Warriors help brighten the lives of local families and youth in the Bay Area during the holidays. Throughout the months of November and December, the Warriors provide meals, host shopping sprees for youth and more.

The Golden State Warriors, in collaboration with the Twinning Project and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), launched a six-week basketball program aimed at decreasing recidivism rates and enhancing the readiness of incarcerated individuals for life post-release at California State Prison Solano. Led by Warriors Basketball Academy staff and representatives from Positive Coaching Alliance, the program involves a series of clinics concentrating on coaching fundamentals, leadership, and relationship building.

Chicas Series, presented by NBC Sports Bay Area, enabled 20 Latina high school students to learn about the importance of physical and mental health, as well as the interconnectedness of these two disciplines. Students participated in a basketball training regimen, a speed networking session, and a career panel discussion.

The Warriors and Chase Center, in partnership with DoorDash, are committed to donating 100% of surplus food to local communities. With the help of Replate, all remaining Chase Center event food is packaged and donated to local nonprofits working with people experiencing food insecurity.
