Read To Achieve

The Read to Achieve program, presented by Ross, is a literacy initiative that aims to improve youth reading proficiency among Bay Area elementary students. With exciting year-round activities and experiences, the program promotes a love of reading and sets students up for success in school and beyond.

Future Leaders

The Warriors teamed up with Rakuten and Girls Inc. to host Rakuten Future Leaders, a program designed to uplift the next generation of women leaders by focusing on confidence building and preparing girls for their next steps in life.

Building STEAM Futures

The Golden State Warriors and Rakuten teamed up to host 21 amazing middle schoolers from Girls Inc. for a two-day STEAM immersion. From a Golden Gate Bridge tour to insightful talks with female leaders and hands-on bridge building with Engineering Alliance for the Arts, it was an unforgettable Building STEAM Futures experience!

STEAM Fest

The Golden State Warriors and 1Password hosted STEAM Fest at Chase Center on Sunday, March 9th prior to the Santa Cruz Warriors vs. Mexico City Capitanes game. The event included science, technology, electronic, art, and mathematics demonstrations taking place throughout Chase Center and introduced local youth to STEAM related fields and organizations.

2K Mentorship Program

The Golden State Warriors host Monthly Mentorship Sessions presented by 2K Sports with MENTOR California. The program features McClymonds High School student athletes. Each month, GSW mentors go to McClymonds High School and attend skill building workshops led by MENTOR California with the students. The goal of the program is to offer students various opportunities throughout the course of the school year to work with business mentors to provide guidance, access, and awareness to future business leaders.

Fueling Young Athletes

The Warriors, in partnership with Chevron, brought youth from The Mentoring Center and Rose the Riveter Trust to participate in two respective Warriors Basketball Academy clinics. The focus of these clinics was the intersection of STEM and basketball with a special appearance from Warriors Legend Chris Mullin.

Dribble and Drive

The Warriors, in partnership with Waymo, hosted youth from Rosie The Riveter Trust for a workshop designed to explore the role of technology in sports, focusing on how innovations like Shoot-360 are transforming basketball training. It also delved into different career opportunities that exist in sports and explore how current technologies will impact the way we live.

Creative Threads

Creative Threads, presented by Adobe in partnership with the Golden State Warriors, is a design initiative that brought together four cohorts of talented individuals from across the Bay Area, including Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and San Jose. Participants utilized Adobe tools to digitally design their own custom shoes and then, with support from The Campus, gained hands-on experience bringing their unique visions to life through physical creation.
