DeJuan Lewis helps ex-prisoners re-enter society through employment via his non-profit Civic Pit Stop. He partners with SF Public Works to keep the community safe and clean. Despite his own time in prison, Lewis is now a motivational speaker and was helped by The 941 Project, a partnership between The Thompson Family Foundation, San Francisco Bay Area tech company Crosschq, CareerCircle, and Defy Ventures, to return to his passion of sales and business. He is now an Employee Benefits Consultant for fintech leader Acirsure. Lewis has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is certified in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate Nomination from USF. Mr. Lewis resides in the North Bay and is a big Warriors fan.
