Hector Salazar

Hector Salazar has served as the Executive Director of Reading Partners San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area for the past four years, leading a nonprofit that partners with elementary schools to help students become lifelong readers. Under Hector’s leadership, the organization has raised over $10 million, benefiting 1,200 students in the Bay Area. With two decades in youth development, Hector has championed programs that support social-emotional learning to nutrition and project-based learning. Presenting Hector with a custom jersey and plaque is Austin Claiborne, Expert Community Relations Specialist at the PG&E Company.
