Jameelah Hanif is a community organizer, parent leader, and children's mental health advocate. She is the Founder, CEO, and Executive Director of Watch Me Grow, Inc, a non-profit organization that provides resources, training for parents and positive youth development programs. Jameelah facilitates trauma informed parenting workshops increasing parents awareness about ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) what they can do to reduce ACEs not only within their household, but in community through policy change. For the past 3 years she’s organized annual ACEs Awareness Community Resource Fairs bringing close to 70 community based organizations to The City of Vallejo to provide resources to the community with over 2,500 attendees. Just this year her founding non-profit Watch Me Grow, Inc. was recognized by the City of Vallejo for going the “Extra Mile” for the youth.
