Liana Szeto

Liana Szeto has devoted over 40 years to San Francisco Unified, starting as a teacher at West Portal Elementary and later founding Alice Fong Yu Alternative K-8 which is the nation’s first Chinese immersion public school. Her leadership has earned numerous accolades, including School Site Administrator of the Year, Principal of the Year, and the Terrel H. Bell Award from the U.S. Department of Education’s Blue-Ribbon School Program. Presenting Liana with a custom jersey and plaque is Charlotte Westbrook, Senior Director Administrative Assistant at the PG&E Company.
