Max Repka has been a 911 dispatcher and supervisor for the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management for 12 years. He is one of the Training Supervisors on Day Shift and a member of the department Peer Support Team. He was awarded the most recent Toni Hardley Supervisor in Excellence Award which is granted by peers and management. Max took this job many years ago because he wanted to give back to The City that he loves dearly and wants nothing more than to protect the citizens and first responders. He says it’s a difficult but rewarding profession that always keeps your mind sharp and fingers working.
