Monique Berlanga is a social justice champion and lawyer and lifelong Warriors fan born and raised in Hayward, who, for over 15 years, has dedicated her career to making sure that historically excluded communities have access to justice. Throughout her career she has defended over two thousand cases on behalf of low-income tenants facing eviction from their homes. She is currently the Executive Director of Centro Legal de la Raza, located in the Fruitvale District of Oakland. Centro Legalis a non-profit legal services organization providing free high-quality legal services to over 12,000 low-income immigrants, tenants, and workers throughout the region every year since 1969.
