Noel Moritz

Noël Moritz has volunteered for more than 20 years to assist the underserved in the San Leandro community through her work with several non-profit organizations like April Showers, a shower and resource program for the marginalized; the San Leandro Community Food Pantry (SLCFP), one of the largest in Alameda county; and the San Leandro Warming Center, which offers support during inclimate weather to the unhoused.

Noël serves on the Board of Directors for April Showers & SLCFP, which now serves over 1200 families a month. Noël feels passionately that working to support the marginalized in our community is her calling, and that not one of us is free until all of us are free. Forward together - not one step back.
